Our Mission
Shine Bright Fitness is a personal training program created for neurodiverse kids and adults who want to stay active and live a healthier life. We focus on three major pillars of fitness; functional strength, mobility, and cognitive function. These three pillars ensure that our clients can apply what they learn to everyday life and maximize the benefits of their training. Each session can be tailored to an individual’s specific needs and goals. Positive encouragement is the foundation of everything we do at Shine Bright Fitness. Every session we strive to inspire our clients so that they can push themselves past their limits and reach goals they never thought possible.
Functional Strength
Strength training is an important part of our program because muscular weaknesses can lead to bad posture and injuries. Simple movements like pushing, pulling, lifting, and squatting with weight or resistance are great ways to build strength safely.
Mobility
Mobility exercises include things like proper squatting and lifting form, and range of motion exercises. Balance and coordination. Corrective exercises help fix muscle imbalances which can lead to pain and prevent the body from working properly. Everyday activities can lead to issues with posture, balance, and coordination; the right exercises can improve quality of life greatly.
Cognitive Function
Everyone processes the world differently, which is why we at Shine Bright Fitness combine verbal, physical, and visual instructions to connect with each client in a way that works best. Physical activity can help with focus and attention which is why we include reaction drills to work on these crucial brain functions.
